The annual Lowry High talent show was held on Thursday of Winterfest week. Just about everyone gets stage fright but a total of 25 brave acts came out to perform on Thursday night in Lowry’s auditorium.

Student’s family and friends filled the auditorium to see the spectacular talent of the students at Lowry.

Jacob Hernandez hosted the show and did a great job of keeping the crowd alive. The show unveiled so much amazing talent from instruments, to singing, to dancing, to a display of karate and wielding of nun chucks. Every act left the crowd in awe but a choice had to be made as only the top three acts would win a trophy.

Judges Mr. Jared Parks, Ms. Roxanne Hardy, and Mr. Jeff Setzer had some tough decisions to make but in the end, they selected the three they thought were the most deserving. In third place were Maddie Riley and Mardi Johnson who performed a dance routine. In second place was Tyler Jenkins. He showed off his singing skills along with his own backup dancers. In 1st place came Micah Avalos and Rachel Metzker who sang an amazing duet.
