NFR takes over Vegas

Since the last year of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) regular season of 2009, Ryan Dirteater has not been on a bull due to a dislocated knee injury. Ryan Dirteater has not been on a bull since for well over a year, the 21-year-old had said he is ready to compete again amongst the top bull riders of the PBR. In 2008 the young rider rode in 23 events along with three major injuries and managed to stay within the top ten riders. In 2008 he had spent some time in the top ten riders and won his first Built Ford Tough Series (BTFS) event in Dallas, Texas.

After his debut in the 2007 BTFS, Aaron Roy thinks he is good enough to ride within the top 40 riders in the PBR on a weekly basis.

He was 0-for-the weekend in five of six BFTS events from Nashville.

Recently married, Roy missed the Iron Cowboy Invitational event in February due to a conflict with his wedding date. Roy is looking into settling his role as a contender as a professional bull rider. The 2010 upcoming Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas will feature 10 rounds of exciting action and you can tune into ESPN2 to see all the action taking place here in Nevada.

The National Finals Rodeo will have all the event leaders competing in Las Vegas. Ryan Gray is in first of the world standings in bareback riding and has an earning of $159,024.33. The World standings leader in bull riding is Wesley Silcox and has earnings of $137,392.00. Bradley Harter is the world standings leader of saddle bronc riding with earnings of $106,808.00. (According to the official site of The Wrangler National Rodeo.) For the team ropers (heading), Clay Tryan is in first of the world standings in earning money he has $146,608.38. Team roping (heeler), Travis Graves had earnings of $147,653.37 as a result. For everyone going to the Wrangler NFR, consider yourselves lucky, because the event is sold out almost every year.

The Wrangler NFR results were a tough long rodeo the prize money toward all contestants was $17,512.02, every contestant that placed number one received this prize amount. The number one contestant of bareback riding is Joe Gunderson with a score of 88 points. The saddle bronc riding winner was Jesse Kruse with a score of 87 points. Out of the bull riders, D.J Domanque placed first with a score of 88.5 points. The rough stock riding was tough for all the riders, but they managed to pull through and were all congratulated for their performances.

With all the entertainment in the roping events in Las Vegas when Clif Cooper took first place in tie-down roping, he had a time of 7.9 seconds. In the team roping (heelers) Kory Koontz took first place with a time of 4.10 seconds, the winner of heading in the team roping was Colby Lovell with a time of 4.10 seconds. These rodeo contestants are now the world-standing leaders of the following review events of bareback, team roping, saddle bronc, and bull riding.
