France has been in a state of mourning since Friday, November 13 due to a series of terror attacks on Paris. People around the world are also mourning the awful events hoping for “peace for Paris”. The attacks were organized and executed by ISIS.

According to CNN, the attacks started at Stade de France, a stadium, during a German-French soccer match, security personnel stopped a man carrying the bomb at which point it was detonated. Only the suicide bomber and a man walking by were killed in the attack and a few were injured. People arriving late to see a soccer match saw much more that day.

The next attack was at the restaurant, Le Petit Cambodge. Masked shooters shot into the restaurant killing 15 people. After this occurred, there was a second explosion at Stade de France similar to the first. Next was another shooting outside a bar, killing five people. Just minutes later there was another shooting outside restaurant La Belle Equipe, killing 19. Next was a bomber in another restaurant, several people were injured but no one died. At almost the same time, three attackers began shooting during a concert and took hostages onto the stage. The attackers spoke, talking about Iraq and Syria. Police entered to concert hall killing one of the shooters and the other two committed suicide. There were 89 deaths at the concert.  After this, there was a third explosion at the Stade de France.

Over 130 people were killed by the terror attacks and many more were physically injured. France called for three days of mourning and a state of emergency.

On Sunday, November 15 and Monday, November 16 Paris dropped bombs on Raqqa, ISIS’s claimed capital.
