The Performer of the Week goes to the one and only Jacob Hernandez. Hernandez is a senior at Lowry which he is also an actor in drama. He was selected by the Drama and English teacher Mrs.Corrine James.
Jacob had expressed how he felt about receiving the title of Performer of the Week.
“I feel honored to have earned Performer of the Week, everyone did great and I feel like I couldn’t have done something like this without all their help and support. I feel that my best performances have been a blast, they have been flying by way too fast but I can’t wait to keep performing,” said Hernandez.
Kinley Carlson, a fellow drama student and senior at Lowry expressed how she felt toward Hernandez’s accomplishment.
“During the play. Even though he was injured, he made it work wonderfully. Jacob is a very good actor and had some pretty big shoes to fill, he worked hard for it, so he deserved it,” said Carlson.
