Performer of the Week: Shaelyn Forney

The performer for this week is a drama student who was picked by Mrs. Corrine James. Shaelyn Forney is an active member in LHS Drama, FFA, and Basque dancing. With all these activities going on, Forney always makes time to do what she loves most: acting.

“She is so saucy and spicy. You would think she is very quiet but she’s not. She is very good at accents and she is a great addition to drama,” said James.

Forney recently acted as Elizabeth in the last play, “Frankenstein.” She awed the crowd with her ability to change accents so suddenly.

“Her accent was so spot on and the play flowed well when she was in it. She is such a cool person. She is so fun to be around and always nice to everyone,” said fellow drama student Nathan Lutzow.

The next play, “A Few of My Favorite Things”, will play at Lowry on December 16 and 17.
