Junior Weston Noyes was chosen by Mrs. Corrine James for Performer of the Week.
This is Noyes’ first year in drama, but he has been acting since a young age.
“I have been involved with theatrical arts for a large portion of my life,” said Noyes. “I was part of the drama class at the junior high, so I was super excited to have the chance to be a part of Mrs. James’ program.”
Fellow actor Maddie Riley said Noyes is positive and always has a good attitude.
“You can tell he loves what he’s doing on stage,” said Riley. “He is so positive and full of life that he influences all of us to work harder and have fun. As for me, he always keeps me on my toes with his jokes and accents. He’s a really talented actor.”
James mentioned that Noyes has a natural-born talent for acting.
“Weston is an excellent actor and very easy to direct. He knows his lines and always stays in character,” said James.
In fact, Noyes wasn’t scared at all to audition.
“I was very excited and confident to give it all I’ve got,” said Noyes. “I am so grateful for Mrs. James and for her letting me be part of her class. I’m also grateful for her support my and my classmate’s talents.”
