Junior Melanie Magaña, was picked as Performer of the Week by art teacher Ms. Cassie Jenkins.
Jenkins picked Magaña because of her hard work and art skills in class.
“She is very conscientious of what she is doing and the effort she puts into her work is great,” said Jenkins.
Jenkins added that Magaña has a good attitude in class.
“She always walks into class with a smile on her face and interacts with her students very well,” said Jenkins.
Art is now one of Magaña’s favorite subjects.
“Art is one of my favorite classes so getting picked makes me feel proud of my artwork,” said Magaña.
The art students will be having an art show toward the end of the year.
