Press release: New company coming to Nevada

By Rylee Mathis Posted October 10, 2012

On the second of October, Governor of Nevada, Brian Sandoval, announced a new business was coming to Northern Nevada; specifically Reno. The new company, BizChair, is an internet retailer of things like office chairs, restaurant and office furniture, home, school, and medical furniture. According to NV.gov, co-owners of BizChair Gary Glazer and Sean Belnick have leased 300,000 square feet in Stead, NV.

According to the press release, the company chose Reno because “our location cuts freight costs and shipping time to their West Coast customers.” Sandoval is excited about this business joining our state.

Sean Belnick started BizChair when he was only 14 in 2001. The headquarters of this company is in Canton, GA. NV.gov reports that BizChair received $13.6 billion in sales in 2005. The Stead facility will be the first expansion out of Georgia for BizChair.

“I am thrilled to welcome them to Nevada and I look forward to a very productive working relationship,” said Sandoval in the press release.
