English teacher Mr. Tim Connors nominated freshman Riley Scott as English Student of the Week for her incredible dedication, enthusiasm, and progress.
“I nominate Riley Scott as the Connors English Student of the Week,” said Connors. “She has shown incredible dedication, enthusiasm, and progress in her English studies.”
When informed that she had been chosen as English Student of the Week, Scott thanked Connors for his help and support and expressed her honor at being chosen.
“I’m honored to be chosen for this award,” said Scott. “Thank you for all the help and support Mr. Connors.”
Scott also expressed her happiness for being recognized and mentioned how she has always been in love with writing.
“I have always been in love with writing and I’m so happy that I have teachers that recognize me and my hard work,” said Scott.
Connors also said that Riley is different due to her willingness to take risks, positive attitude, and curiosity.
“What stands out about Riley is her positive attitude, questions, and willingness to take risks while writing,” said Connors.
