As time passes, we slowly grow eager for the big day: graduation. When it comes down to it, and we look back on past memories, there are some that mean more than others. Here are this year’s seniors’ favorite memories.
When Greg Harding was asked about his favorite memory from high school, he said seeing Kevin Blanco in leadership almost every day.
For some students, their favorite memory was the best time of the year, football season.
“My favorite memory from high school is playing JV football because we only lost one game, and it was a good time on the field with my bros,” said Jose Bernal.
“Definitely all the Friday night football games and cheering on the basketball teams in the student section. And SMEDS,” said Donovan Brumm.
For Alyssa Dendary, her favorite memory from high school was winning state basketball her junior year, playing alongside her best friends and building a bond that will never be broken, and of course, the countless road trips and the unforgettable overnighters.
“My favorite memory is ‘Cinderella’ and drama. Oh, and the after parties at McDonald’s were always the best too,” said Lizzie Sims.
Monique Rodriguez shared that her favorite memory was going to soccer practice and messing around with the homies.
High school can be the best four years of your life, filled with everlasting memories and moments of laughter shared with lifelong friends. Make high school enjoyable; you only get one shot at it.
