Senior Emmanuel Martinez was picked as Student Athlete of the Week by coach Shelby Ruff of the Lowry swim team.
Ruff chose Martinez because of his improvement and hard work.
“He came into the swim not knowing much about the basics, but has worked hard and has become one of our best divers,” said Ruff.
Ruff added that Martinez’s swim techniques are on point.
“He has really good, sharp turn-arounds during his laps,” said Ruff.
The Lowry swim team will have its first swim meet Saturday, March 10, in Sparks.
