Kepa Bengochea was selected by coach Amy Jenkins as this week’s JV girl’s basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for always working hard and being a leader.
“She has worked hard from the get-go and is a leader on the floor,” said coach Jenkins on why she chose Bengochea as Student-Athlete of the Week.
Bengochea explained how she felt to be selected, “It feels good to be recognized for working hard.”
Bengochea and the rest of the JV girl’s basketball team will play Churchill County at home on Tuesday, December 8 at 3 p.m.
