As the Lowry High School Buckaroos gear up for the upcoming swim season, the excitement is too much to handle.

With a strong roster and a commitment to the season, the Buckaroos are ready to take on this swimming season.

“We’ve been training hard, and I can feel the energy building,” said Contreras. “We’re not just teammates; we’re a family, and I believe we can achieve great things together this year,”.

The new head coach, Cassandra Jenkins, wants to make it to state throughout the year.

“We are already making Regional cut times after just one meet, so the season is looking very promising in seeing some of our swimmers at state this season,” said Jenkins.

Emphasizing the importance of teamwork and dedication. With a mix of experienced swimmers and promising newcomers.

Aidan Peters has spent three seasons on the team, working hard at her regional times.

“I hope to get my 500 free time down to less than 7 minutes,” said Peters. “To balance out my time, I just make sure I give everything the appropriate amount of attention.”

As the season approaches, the Buckaroos are not just focused on individual achievements but working together to build a strong and supportive group.
