The Lowry varsity baseball won two out of three games, and won in stunning fashion against the Fallon Greenwave.

In Lowry’s three games the Bucks beat Fernley with the final score of 5-3 but fell to the Dayton Dust Devils 8-3. Lowry also beat the Fallon Greenwave 11-7. Two players really stood out in this game, Dusty Kraft and Bryan Noble.

Noble went 2 for 4 with two home runs; his first home run was a grand slam and his second home run was the game-winning RBI. Bryan had 7 RBI’s and also pitched a fantastic game and got the win on the mound. Kraft also went 2 for 4 with a home run and had a single with two RBI’s. Lowry did not have the greatest hitting day; they ended the game with 13 strikeouts.

“We faced probably the best pitcher we have seen all year long and we beat him,” said coach Ron Espinola.

In the third inning Lowry put up five runs, contributing to those runs was Noble when he hit his first home run with Jace Billingsley, Mitch Pollock, and Anders Pace on base. The other run was scored by Tanner Lecumberry when he scored from second base off of Gus Duncan’s hit. Lowry went silent with the bats until the seventh inning when Anders Pace and Dusty Kraft got on base for Bryan Noble to go yard for his second home run on the day.

“I was feeling pretty good I had my curveball working and I was able to get outs,” said junior Bryan Noble.
