The varsity boy’s basketball record of 7-15 was not a true indicator of the success they had this year.

First-year head coach Brandon Eastman is proud of how the season went for the boys; the score is not what matters. Matthew Casalez was happy he got to end the season on a good note, playing with his teammates.

“My favorite part of the season was being around my teammates I’ve played with since I was a little kid and getting to play with them one last time,” said Casalez.

To cap the season, Jaden Jimenez finished the season as First-Team All-State. Byron Jimenez received Second-Team All-State. Connor Nelson and Mathew Casalez Honorable Mention.

Senior, Jaden Jimenez (13.8 ppg) led the boys in scoring this season, and senior, Matthew Casalez was the second-leading scorer (11.7 ppg).

Seniors: Angus Boyles, Matthew Casalez, Trevor Crawford, Kayd Garner, Jaden Jimenez, Conner Nelson, Gabriel Lange, Austin White
