Varsity boys dominate Dayton

The varsity boys played Dayton on Friday, January 11, and showed them how the game is played.

The score was 66-27, with Lowry beating their opponent by 39 points. The game was close at first, with Dayton at 0 and Lowry at 12 in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Dayton came back with 15 but Lowry kept it up, scoring 24 in the first half.

In the second half, the Lowry boys took off, scoring 23 more points in just the third quarter while Dayton only scored 5.

Senior Jesse Studebaker scored 18 of all the points, the highest personal score for the Bucks in the game. Junior Josh Watterson followed with 12 points.

Each team had 10 fouls altogether in the end. Mostly, the two teams played a clean game.

The Varsity boys’ next game is on January 18 against Battle Mountain.
