The new varsity basketball team plans on taking their success to the next level. There are twelve girls total with six juniors and six seniors. Most of the team are returners and they have played with each other before.
The team already knows the system for basketball, and coach Chelsea Cabatbat plans on changing some defenses and offenses. She wants the team to have a different look this year.
“They all have one goal in mind, they are all working hard,” said Cabatbat.
The twelve girls on the team are Chelsea Herrera, Madison Mayo, Caitlyn Cooper, Jasmine Marchand, Payton Naveran, Kylee McClellan, Shelby McKinnon, Alyssa Dendary, Jillian Albright, Meg Montero, Haley Hall, Alyssa Jones, and coach is Chelsea Cabatbat.
“I’m excited for this season it would be cool to take state two years in a row,” said Herrera
Cabatbat is excited to watch how her team plays. She is ready to start the year with success and have a different style.
