“The Blind Side” was a popular movie in 2009 about an American football player. It is a great film to go and watch with your friends or family; there is a book about it as well.

A teenage boy named Michael Oher (Brandon Rivers) lives in a small apartment with his mother and siblings. He has to live and survive on his own. He never had a dad so all he has are his mom and brothers and sisters.

One rainy night, Michael was found walking alone on the side of the street wearing just a t-shirt and shorts by Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock). Leigh pulled over and gave him a ride over to the Tuohy home to stay for a night.

After Leigh’s kindness for Michael to stay the night, even when he had a different background than them, Michael eventually became a member of their family.

When Michael is living in their household, throughout the time, the family fulfills Michael’s potential. Michael gets into playing football in school and his presence that he’s in the Tuohy family leads them to some astute self-discoveries on their own.

This movie is based on a true story and is recommended for everyone. It has parts that are emotional and very inspirational. It’s a great movie to watch if you are one of those people who have athletic abilities because you might learn something from it. It shows sportsmanship along with how important family is for support.
