With the original season returning, many players were eager to play again. “Fortnite” used to be a viral game. However, over time many people stopped playing and it died off. With many different collabs, the new game has a newfound popularity. New additions like Lego Fortnite and Rocket League have brought a new vision for the players.
Fortnite is a game full of memories and many experiences. Since its introduction in 2017, many players have been playing with friends and family for years. Fortnite is a battle royale with many different game modes including games that players have made. Students can take their minds off of stressful situations in their lives by playing with friends or family anywhere and anytime.

‘Call of Duty’ By Caitlyn Peters
In 2003 Call of Duty was released and 22 other games have been added to the franchise. Activision (owned by Microsoft) produces the game which is based around World War II primarily fighting nazis and battling zombies. Most recently, “Modern Warfare Three” was launched; it’s expansive with numerous game modes and high-quality graphics. The game is rated M for mature, and critics have referred to it as a poor game with a rating of 55 on “Metacritic” making “MW3” the worst-rated Call of Duty game yet.
This game has been entertaining for me personally, offering online play and a simple story with complex missions linked to it. This game has connected with over 30 million people worldwide, with almost two hundred thousand playing simultaneously. With the addition of updates frequently occurring the game will stay relevant for many years to come.
‘Grand Theft Auto’ By Josie Jenkins
“Grand Theft Auto”, also known as GTA is a game filled with endless adventure. Many people play for the fun missions you can do to earn money, you can buy guns with the money you earned to go shoot other players, while others like racing people around the world or even just driving their nice car around. GTA holds many activities to do and can be fun for any type of people. There are many different GTA games, all adding different upgrades for the people to use.
People play this game as a frustration or creative outlet. Players can customize their character however they want, whether they want it to look like them or nothing like them. Players can also buy houses and cars with their money earned from missions and other tasks. GTA has had a hold on players since 1997 when the first game came into existence. The craze has been and continues to flourish in the community.
