“Catfish” is a show that brings much happiness into my life. A ‘catfish’ is a person who creates fake profiles on any social media site and pretends to be someone they aren’t with the intention of having someone fall in love with them.
This show is about people, who fall in love with ‘catfish’ and begin an online relationship, some of which have been going on for years. Nev, the creator of this outstanding show, had fallen victim to a catfish and made the decision to help others who may be in love with a catfish. So Nev goes and these people do background checks and whatnot and find people’s ‘lovers’ to see if they are real or fake.
The show is not all about finding the fakes but probably to give some people closure. But it is pretty hilarious when someone turns out to be something they aren’t like when the person turns out to be fat and ugly. That’s the good stuff.
