“Arrow” is a high-octane action TV series that is set in DC’s comics Starling City. The show is a solid watch and is easy to pick up from almost any episode.
Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is the show’s main character; he was stuck on an island for five years and tortured by its inhabitants. Queen eventually escapes his captives and has to learn how to survive on his own.
Queen returns to Starling City he has a mission to make the city a better place. His father left him a notebook that recorded all of the names of his former enemies or people who had wronged Starling City. Queen then hunts down crime lords, greedy businessmen, bank robbers, and many other vigilantes.
Queen has to keep his identity a secret while he masks himself as the Green Arrow to protect his sister, Thea (Willa Holland,) his mother, Moira (Susanna Thompson,) and his ex-girlfriend, Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy.)
“Arrow” is a worthwhile TV show to watch and it appears every Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. on the CW Television network.
