On March 19, the Walsworth Yearbook representative paid the yearbook staff a visit. They were happily informed that they’ve been inducted into the Gallery of Excellence by the headquarters of Walsworth. Only the top yearbooks in the country receive this kind of recognition.

“It’s nice that all the students are being recognized for their hard work,” said Mrs. Lisa Scott.

As part of this, Lowry’s yearbook will be used as an example and displayed at regional, state and national conventions and workshops. Yearbook staff members from other schools will be able to see the hard work and dedication the students put into our yearbook. Lowry will become an inspiration to schools around the country; they will receive the recognition they deserve.

“It’s a really great honor for all of us,” said yearbook staff member Sarah Gillespie.
