On May 24, Lowry’s girls’ soccer held their first conditioning practice for the 2018 season.
Summer conditioning will be every Tuesday and Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. These practices are not mandatory, but are a good way to start shaping up before tryouts. These practices will consist of conditioning, ball touches, and scrimmaging. It will be important to bring cleats, shin guards, and water.
Dacotah Anelli, who is going to be a Junior in the upcoming school year, is excited for this year’s soccer season.
“We are starting super early this year to make sure we have a great season,” said Anelli. “We have some struggles that we are going to be working on this summer, so our season goes well.”
The official season will begin Saturday, August 11. These will be double-day tryouts, in the morning and evening. All days of tryouts are mandatory.
All freshmen and Juniors who are planning on trying out must have a new physical exam. Sophomores and Seniors must have a physical exam on file at Lowry High School.
All girls planning on trying out will also need to register on Register My Athlete.
