Mr. Byron Jeppsen chose Amaya Betes for her dedication and work ethic in Spanish.

Betes works hard to make sure all of her work is turned in on time and makes sure she tries her best.

“I chose Amaya because she works really hard even when things aren’t the easiest,” said Jeppsen.

Betes looks forward to coming and learning about the Spanish language so she can communicate better with her family.

“What encourages me to go to Jeppsen’s class is so that I can talk to family,” said Betes.

Even though Spanish doesn’t come easy, Betes makes sure to try her best.

Spanish isn’t always the easiest language to learn at first, but after time Betes took to understanding the language.

“Spanish is hard but after a little bit of understanding it, it gets easier,” said Betes.

What stands out about Betes is her work ethic towards her schoolwork, which leads her to learn more and gain communication skills with others.

“Even when things aren’t easy she just keeps trying and trying until she understands it and gets it right,” said Jeppsen.
