Miami Florida will be hosting Super Bowl XLIV will between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints.
The Indianapolis Colts defeated the New York Jets in a score of 30-17. This season the Colts quarterback Peyton Manning completed 393 of his 571 passes and has thrown for 4500 yards and 33 touchdowns in the regular season and he went 56 of 83 for 623 yards and 5 touchdowns in the post season. The Colts are fourth in total offense avenging 368 yards a game. Dwight Freeney, the Colts’ right defensive ends, is questionable for a severe right ankle sprain from when they played the Jets. The Colts’ last Super Bowl win was over the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI in the city of Miami Florida.
The NFC Championship game between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings came down to a field goal in overtime, the Saints came out with the win 31-28. The Saints started the season with a 13-0 record before they suffered their first loss to the Dallas Cowboys on December 19. Drew Brees had an amazing regular season completing 363 of his 514 passes for 4388 yards and 34 touchdowns and in the postseason he has completed 40 of his 63 passes for 444 yards and 6 touchdowns. The Saints had the number one offense in the NFL during the regular season. The Saints have never won or made it in to the Super Bowl.
The main way to stop the Saints’ offense is the pressure Drew Brees, with the injury to Dwight Freeney this will mean that the Saints will not have to double team the Defensive End and on passing plays they can let the running backs escape to the flats.

The Colts’ offense has been nearly unstoppable this season. When Peyton Manning has time in the pocket you know he will be able the find the open receiver. The way to stop the Colts’ offense is to pressure Manning and stay on the receivers at all times.
My pick for this game is the Saints will win in a high-scoring shootout. I pick the Saints because they have a solid defense and offense, also they have never won or even been in a Super Bowl.
