Varsity Volleyball coach Skylar Estes nominates Cambria Tisue as Student-Athlete of the Week. Her growth as a student-athlete has impressed everyone on and off the court and her defensive skills are a great asset to the team.
“She has grown so much as a hitter with the different roles and positions she has had to play,” said Estes. “She has always stepped up to the new challenge.”
Tisue is a vital player on the team, and her attitude toward volleyball is what brings her teammates together. She inspires everyone to work and play hard.
“She has shown huge leadership skills,” said Estes. “Her positive attitude and showing others that no matter what she will still work hard has been a huge factor for our team.”
Tisue has helped create a healthy and encouraging environment within her team. She knows she can always rely on her teammates as they rely on her.
“I try to think that no matter what, someone else can pick me up on my bad days,” said Tisue.” I think the season is going good. Although we don’t have the best record, we are still pushing to have a great season.”.
