Finding a career in the real world might be a hard decision. There is a huge variety of jobs out there, and I hope after reading this article you will have an idea about one of the many jobs.

Jereme Capellen, a P.E. teacher at French Ford Middle School, started his job as a P.E. teacher in 1996 and has been working for 20 years as one. His inspiration to become a P.E. teacher came from all the teachers that he had throughout his school years.

“When I was younger I had a lot of teachers I respected and I loved sports and fitness so that’s why I choose to be a P.E. teacher,” said Capellen.

You may think being a teacher is an easy job but there are some challenges explained Capellen.

Capellen explained, “One of the hardest challenges of being a P.E. teacher is getting to know the kids and their names because there are so many of them.”

Capellen also mentioned the rewards of being a P.E. teacher.

“You get to hang out with little kids, you get to make a difference in little kids’ lives and watch them achieve, grow, and accomplish,” Capellen also mentioned, “you get to wear comfortable clothes.”

Capellen then provided some advice to all the people out there wanting to become a P.E. teacher.

“Don’t become a P.E. teacher if you think it is easy because it’s not, it’s a lot of work but worth it,” Capellen then added, “Don’t be a stereotypical P.E. teacher.”

Being a P.E. teacher can be a difficult job but also comes with its rewards and satisfactions making it a good profession to look into.
