Cristina Cuevas head coach of JV boys soccer has picked Bernardo Estrada for Student-Athlete of The Week. He has shown he is always willing to work and work with a good attitude.

“He always comes out willing to work hard and has one of the best attitudes on the team”, said Cuevas.

Like many kids, Estrada played soccer when he was younger but stopped playing.

“I just barely started playing again. I played it when I was younger and then I quit and went straight to football and I just got back,” said Estrada.

Getting back into a sport you used to play is hard so of course, athletes won’t be perfect trying it out again.

“When I first started I was pretty bad but after playing a while I improved,” said Estrada
