Chance Barton, a junior at Lowry, has been frequenting the local Taco Bell since the day it came to Winnemucca. He visits Taco Bell so much that it has become a problem for him, it has become an addiction.
“I knew it was bad when I would go to Taco Bell twice a day every day. Sometimes I would wake up covered in taco wrappers and taco sauce,” Barton said.
Days like this had become a regular occurrence for Barton. Eventually, the people close to him began to notice.
One of his friends, Alanna Miller said, “I’ve known Chance for some time and ever since we got a Taco Bell here, he’s changed. I can tell that it’s always on his mind and lately, it seems to have become a problem for him and I think he needs help.”
Some of Barton’s friends, including Miller, have recently reached out to him to make him aware of the problem he has developed and to try to get him to seek out help.
After being made aware of his dangerous habits Barton made the decision on his own that he needs to do something to stop this addiction.
“A group of my friends came to me and they really opened my eyes to what was happening. I knew that I really liked Taco Bell but I never realized that I was addicted to it and I have decided that it’s in my best interest to go to rehab to stop this terrible addiction of mine,” Barton said about his decision to address his problem.
