Fake News: Easter Bunny proves to be real

Easter, oh how to explain that time of year. It’s yet another religious holiday turned into kids getting presents from some mythical creature that nobody has ever seen before, yet still magically exists. But newfound evidence shows that this “Easter Bunny” may not be as mythical as one may think. Robert Junior, a 5-year-old boy, reported a sighting of a rarely large bunny delivering tiny baskets into children’s houses in the middle of the night.

“Yeah there was a bunny and he went into my friend Paco’s house. He was really tall and he had a little basket in his hands filled with those fake eggs that you buy at the store. He didn’t see me,” said Junior.

When Junior reported this sighting to his parents, they naturally thought he was lying.

“I mean yeah we’re grown adults, we know the Easter Bunny isn’t real,” said Junior’s mother.

But Robert didn’t give up. He did endless amounts of research to see if there were other legitimate sightings of this Easter Bunny creature that he so desperately wanted to believe in. And finally, one night he got his wish.

“The Easter Bunny came to my window. Yeah, it was really scary but I actually saw him. I remember his words like it was just yesterday. ‘Stop doing research on me, I’m real to those who believe.’ And ever since then, I believed,” said Junior.

Even after all this time, Junior’s parents took a while to get convinced. Eventually Junior explained word for word what happened giving countless amounts of actual evidence that the Easter Bunny was in fact real. Eventually, the parents of Junior believed him and every year they watch for the Easter Bunny together.

The moral of the story is, if you see a really big “man” in a bunny suit entering a child’s house in the middle of the night, don’t call the police. It’s probably just the Easter Bunny.
