Lowry Seniors are tired of the juniors parking in their lot. They are presenting their idea to the school board to get a gate that will only allow seniors inside. The idea is seniors must have their student ID proving they are a senior to get into the parking lot.
Senior Bob Miller explained the electronic gates and how they will help with this situation.
“We just want to have our own parking area, it was the only thing I looked forward to was this parking lot. We waited three years to park here now it’s their turn to wait,” said Miller.”WE are going to present the idea of getting the electronic gates that will let you in if you put in the code. Then only give the code to the seniors, that would keep those juniors out.”
Zan Way argued that gating off the parking lot will just take too much time.
“This petty disagreement is just taking time out of our day, if we get a coded gate we will be in a line going in one by one, that would just take too long just to get to school ” said Way.
Zan really does not think that the issue is worth fighting over.
“After a while no one will park there.Yes it’s nice to have our own parking lot but it’s not worth it, if it would take so much time to park there just let the three or four juniors in and deal with it,” said Zan.
