Fake News: Students attending prom actually stayed with their dates

Prom is always a great night whether you’re in a relationship or single.

But, for some reason, it seems to be a really big struggle for people at prom to stay with their dates the whole night and not “ditch” them.

“I honestly think it’s pretty lame to stay with your date the entire time. There’s a ton of people there and I just want to party. The more the merrier, I always say,” said Cheyenna Wolicki.

Amazingly, however, this year everyone at prom stayed with their dates. Not a single person at prom left their dates to go dance or “grind” with someone else.

Which is a very big deal, that awed all the teachers and adults helping chaperone the dance.

However, the volunteers were a little out of hand and tried to break up dates in an attempt to make students more open to dancing with other students.

“The chaperones desperately tried to break up dates with their excessive tweaking, but to no avail. Everybody actually wanted to stay with the person they showed up with,” said Ms. Alexis Mattson.

The dance was such an amazing success with all the people attending having a good time.

The best way to ensure that prom is a successful and memorable night is to go with a date that will be so fun that you won’t want to leave their side. And make sure that feeling is mutual, because if it’s not you may end up going home with orange juice all over your rental tuxedo. Arabian Nights will be a night that will live on in our memory forever and ever. And ever.
