FAKE NEWS: Trump befriends the rocket man

Kim Jong-un has been caught in the news a lot over the years. Known by all as the dictator of North Korea, the country hidden from the world. He has been known for the cruelties he has forced upon his citizens. When someone thinks about North Korea some ideas that pop into their head are probably labor camps, starvation, and nukes. But this may all be changing according to a breaking news story from CNN, it appears Kim Jong-un has had a change of heart.

On Monday, March 2 President Trump sent out a very interesting tweet leaving many followers to believe he had been hacked.

“The leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un has sent several emails to me apologizing about his recent actions over my term as President. He now wants the United States to help rebuild his country and catch it up with the rest of the world,” Trump tweeted.

Although many news sources believed this to be another way North Korea was trying to gain publicity, CNN reported that earlier this morning the countries borders were opened to the public and citizens are now having passports made so that they can travel elsewhere.

Although it is unknown if Kim Jong-un’s nukes are still being tested nothing has been reported or heard of for quite some time as their last major test was in September of 2017. This test was so big it actually caused aftershocks and moved the earth’s crust. The United States government has been led to believe that North Korea’s Nuclear program has been shut down, at least temporarily.

Although there have been no reports on what the United States’ next actions will be there are rumors that American and South Korean troops based in South Korea are planning a trip to the country to bring food to citizens living in the region around Pyongyang and possibly meet with the leader.

Former NBA power forward Dennis Rodman who played alongside Michael Jordan has been friends with Kim Jong-un since 2013 and has made several visits to the country. Kim Jong-un is a big basketball fan and a fan of Rodman himself.

Rodman also tweeted earlier today giving himself some credit for the leader’s change of heart.

“What did I tell you guys? Y’all did not believe me but now look. My friend has come around,” tweeted Rodman.

Although more details are not clear on the issue, we can only hope that this is all really happening and that things will continue to get better in the country and in turn will make the world a better place as well.
