It’s that time of the year again, as the best in college football face off in their bowl games in the upcoming weeks. Cabatbat and Lucas will hopefully rebound from their picks from last year. Cabatbat’s record was 2-7, while Lucas went 4-5.
Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl (4) Washington vs. (1) Alabama
Lucas: I’m gonna go with the upset and say Washington.
Cabatbat: Coach Peterson will come up with a pretty good game plan for Alabama, and he might keep it pretty close, but in the end, Alabama is Alabama, and I think they are gonna give Washington the business.
PlayStation Fiesta Bowl. (3)Ohio State vs. (2) Clemson
Lucas: Ohio State.
Cabatbat: Quick coin, real quick. Alright, tails is Ohio State, and heads is Clemson. (flips coin) Well, I guess I’m going for Ohio State then.
CFP National Championship
Lucas: Washington wins it all.
Cabatbat: As much as it pains me to say this, I think Alabama is going to take it all.
Capital One Orange Bowl (6) Michigan vs. (11) Florida State
Lucas: Michigan
Cabatbat: Coach Harbaugh selects great coaches to surround himself with, and therefore, Michigan is going to come out victorious just because he has people around him who do the right things.
Outback Bowl. (17) Florida vs. Iowa
Lucas: Iowa
Cabatbat: I’ve gotta go with Florida. I think they are higher powered, and Iowa’s coming from a cold climate to a warm climate, and Florida’s already there.
Goodyear Cotton Bowl. (15) Western Michigan vs. (8) Wisconsin
Lucas: Western Michigan, why not?
Cabatbat: Wisconsin
Rose Bowl Game. (9) USC vs. (5) Penn State
Lucas: USC
Cabatbat: I like Penn State, but I’m gonna go with USC.
Allstate Sugar Bowl. (14) Auburn vs. (7) Oklahoma
Lucas: Oklahoma
Cabatbat: I’ll go with Auburn with the upset on this one.
Hyundai Sun Bowl. (18) Stanford vs. North Carolina
Lucas: North Carolina
Cabatbat: I mean, I’m waiting for Stanford to just come out and stomp on somebody, and I think they are going to do that against North Carolina.
Valero Alamo Bowl. (12) Oklahoma State vs. (10) Colorado
Lucas: Colorado
Cabatbat: I’m gonna have to go with Oklahoma State, especially if their coach is still rocking that mullet. You’ve gotta go with that.
Fosters Farm Bowl. Indiana vs. (19)Utah
Lucas: Utah
Cabatbat: I’ve gotta go with Utah, I think Utah has seen better opponents than Indiana.
Motel 6 Cactus Bowl. Boise State vs. Baylor
Lucas: Baylor
Cabatbat: I mean, this is just principle, I’ve gotta go for Baylor, I can’t root for Boise State.
Hawai’i Bowl. Hawaii vs. Middle Tennessee
Lucas: Hawaii
Cabatbat: So the bottom line is, Middle Tennessee is gonna go on vacation, and Hawaii is already there, so they ain’t on vacation, it’s work time, so they are gonna come out victorious.
Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Idaho vs. Colorado State
Lucas: Colorado State
Cabatbat: Idaho’s gonna show up on Boise’s field and just see the blue turf and be scared. It doesn’t matter who they play; they could play a high school team and end up losing on the blue turf, so I think I’m gonna have to go with Colorado on that one.
San Diego County Bowl. BYU vs. Wyoming
Lucas: Wyoming
Cabatbat: I think BYU’s defense will slow down Wyoming and will take the Cougars to a victory.
Boca Raton Bowl. Memphis vs. Western Kentucky
Lucas: Western Kentucky
Cabatbat: It’s gonna be a battle of defenses, I think, both teams are putting up point,s but I’m gonna have to go with Memphis.
