There was a Junior Buckaroo Wrestling tournament that was held on January 22.
The purpose of the tournament was to inspire younger generations to become more interested in wrestling.
This was an opportunity for the Lowry wrestling team as well as the kids as they helped coach, keep, score, and ref.
Trase Bell, one of the wrestlers who helped out, said this about the tournament, “We ran 300 matches in 2 hours and we made it an opportunity for kids to get involved in wrestling,”
Bell continued with, “It’s a good deal to promote wrestling in all ages.”
They are planning on having another tournament next year.
