The beginning of a new season has brought new and old players to the JV baseball team they have worked to make it the best season they can.
“I think the team is young and has a lot of potential once we build chemistry and just have fun,” said Keston Unrein.
The team shows a lot of potential and the willingness to make it and push hard to make the season the best they can.
“We are a young team, and I want the new guys to find ways in which they can help us win and find success,” said Coach Darrin Nelson. “As for the older guys on our team, I want them to step up as leaders and show the young kids what it means to be a part of Lowry baseball.”
The team has a dream that they want to work on, doing their best as a team and getting a winning record.
“I want to finish the season with an even or winning record, which has been a struggle to do for the teams in the past,” said Elijah Lange.
The team has played two games so far and has a record of one win against North Valleys, 20-8 and two losses against Battle Mountain and Sparks.
The roster includes: Keston Unrein, Dyson Curry, Connor Strong, Manny Herrera, James Gourley, Gunner Anderson, Aiden Guzman, Ryan Tiffany, Trevor Niblack, Anthony Sims, Jaxson Morgan, Tyler Sanders, Tryp Hall, Korbin Workmen, Eli Lange, Dylan Martin, and Landon Odoms.
