First-year coach Sean Millikan learned what it was like to coach at Lowry and believes it was a good experience.
“My first season as a Lowry coach was really fun and challenging,” said Millikan. “I learned a lot about what it takes to be a coach at the JV level.”
Justin Hogan ended the season with a closer relationship with his team and more understanding of his teammates.
“We had improved on our chemistry and understanding of how each and every one had played and their skills on the court,” said Hogan.
Coach Millikan’s favorite memory during his JV season was their wins.
“My favorite season memory was when we went on our first tournament trip and got a win on the road,” said Millikan
Izayus Barajas believes that even with their losses, they had improvements and took every loss as an opportunity.
“The season was good, there were some bad things, such as our losses, but we took them as lessons and improved a lot as a team,” said Barajas. “Having that team chemistry really helped with our overall game.”
JV boy’s basketball ended the season with a record of 2-19.
