JV boy’s basketball wants to make most of upcoming season

The JV boys’ basketball team has high hopes for the upcoming 2024-2025 season.

With a new coach, the season holds many opportunities. Coach Sean Millikan is excited to see what happens this season. 

“There are so many talented student-athletes in our school and I think we have a bright future ahead for our program,” said Millikan. “As the new JV coach, I look forward to working with each of them to try to build something great.”

Sophomore, Izayus Barajas looks forward to improving himself as a player and winning more games as a team.

“I look forward to improving myself as a player and improving this season in wins,” said Barajas. 

Freshman, Emmanuel Herrera is excited to have the opportunity to play with a new team and build a bond. 

“I look forward to building chemistry with new players since this is my first year playing with new teammates,” said Herrera. 

Freshman, Ethan Cain is excited to have the opportunity to be a freshman on JV.

“I hope this season will hold many new experiences, seeing how I made JV as a freshman,” said Cain. 

 This basketball season holds many opportunities for the boys, and they are willing to improve and be open to new experiences.
