JV softball continues march toward undefeated season

The JV softball continued its undefeated season with a 26-0 drubbing of the Carlin Railroaders.

Alyssa Dendary thought it was an overall good effort.

“I think we all played well. Everyone got hits and our defense was pretty solid,” said freshman pitcher Dendary.

Another freshman pitcher, Kylee McClellan added, “We worked together as a team and got the job done.”

All of the girls were excited about the win.

Dendary said, “The win felt good especially because we just enhanced our undefeated record.”

Even though the Lady Bucks are undefeated, the team feels like they need to improve in some areas.

“We need to improve on bunting. We need to get our bunts down and they didn’t go as planned,” McClellan said.

The JV team is enthusiastic for the rest of the season.

McClellan said, “For the rest of the season I expect us to keep doing what we’re doing and keep getting better to beat the tougher teams.”

Freshman Alyssa Jones added, “As long as we keep playing the way that we are the season should finish up well for us.”

All in all, the JV girls are having a great season.
