The JV softball team has been doing great this season and is showing a lot of improvement.
Their latest games were at Lowry High School on April 23. Lowry faced Churchill County at home. The score ended 9-4.
“The team works together great, we communicate well and just work really well together. We are improving greatly as a team. We are a freshman-heavy team and some girls were fairly new to the game but now we are all great softball players,” Emily Cook said. “I think of these girls as a family more than a team we really do work together really well and we all enjoy being around one another.”
“I think of us as more of a family. We get along as a family more than a team.” Krista Parker said, “We all play good together and we all play really we stand out in our own way. I think we are doing very well and we can keep it going the rest of the season.”
Their next game will be away on April 26 at 1 p.m. against Wells.
