On Friday, April 1, and Saturday, April 2, the JV softball team swept Elko in a three-game series, beating them by at least ten runs in every game.
Freshman Maddie McClellan talked about how the games went for the team.
“Everyone played great. When it came down to it, we found a rhythm and hit the ball very well,” McClellan said.
While the team played their games with great success, they still had some things to work on the following week to prepare for their next games.
McClellan said that over the week they worked on first and third situations and their bunt coverage.
The JV team will play a doubleheader away against Wells on Tuesday, April 26. They will also play away against Truckee on Saturday, April 30.
