With Ms. Megan Maga moving to the CTE department a position in Special Education has opened up, Ms. Kalie Sullivan has taken up the spot and is ready to make sure all of our students have a great experience at Lowry.
“I graduated from Lowry High School in 2015 and began my college education at Great Basin College the following fall, graduating in December of 2021 with a Bachelor in Elementary Education and Special Education Endorsement,” said Sullivan.
Sullivan has a well-developed education and takes pride in her family.
“I started subbing, primarily at the elementary school levels in 2016 and continued on and off as I completed my degree and had my two wonderful daughters,” said Sullivan
With a clear image of what Sullivan wants to do with her career.
“I student taught in Kindergarten and 8th grade ELA Special Education and finished the 2021-2022 school year as a paraprofessional in the CLS Classroom at the Junior High,” said Sullivan.
With another student returning as a teacher here at Lowry we will have more Lowry pride and our special education program will continue to ensure all students can learn in a great environment.
“I began teaching 5th grade in January of 2023 but am continuously feeling Special Education is where I belong,” said Sullivan. “I am looking forward to joining Lowry High School and working closely with only the best.”
