Did you ever have a special event as a young child with older kids that ended up becoming role models to you? You looked up to them and wanted to be just like them when you grew up. The Lowry cheerleaders became role models to a group of grade school girls last week.

October 28 through October 30 the Lowry cheerleaders held a cheer camp as a fundraiser. Girls in grades kindergarten through sixth attended. The girls practiced with Lowry cheerleaders and were taught a cheer and a dance. The girls performed their routine during half time at the JV football game on Thursday.

Though they were nervous, they smiled as they cheered on the Bucks. After their performance, the girls gazed upon the Lowry cheerleaders as the rest of the game went on, they will all remember this experience.
