Lowry boy’s soccer team crushes Spring Creek

With the help of the moms and dads in the crowd, the Buckaroos defeated the Spartans 6-0 on Saturday, October 2.

At first, some of the Lowry players thought the referees were picking sides during the game.

“It turned pretty ugly,” said senior Dustin Kraft. The parents in the crowd were very motivated to receive the right calls for both sides. “The parents were the main cause of it (receiving good calls).”

Jose Acevedo started the scoring and made a whopping four goals total for the game. Anders Pace also added on two goals.

“We are getting a lot smarter with our passes” said Kraft. Which proved to be the fact after the game was over.

Kraft has confidence in his team for this season after watching and participating in the game. “We are pretty solid for the rest of the year,” said Kraft.

Lowry’s next game is away at Rite of Passage Friday, October 8.
