The Bucks had a great state tournament finishing second and winning the academic state title.

“It was a lot harder than what we are used to up in the north,” said Tori Echeverria.

The Lady Bucks traveled to Mesquite Nevada and played two great courses, Casa Blanca, and Falcon Ridge. On the first day of the state tournament, the Bucks teed off on the Casa Blanca Golf Course. Lowry had a positive first day with three of the girls finishing under 100 strokes. Alyssa Dendary, Cortney Kieser, and Casey Kieser had an exceptional first day.

The second day the Bucks played at Falcon Ridge, the ladies had somewhat of a better day with the three out of the six girls golfing better on the second day than the first day. The total strokes out of the two days were Alyssa Dendary shooting-188, Julia Dufurrena-210, Tori Echeverria-229, Cortney Kieser-181, Casey Kieser-161, and Olivia Snow-239.

The Lady Bucks had a great season due to hard work and great coaching by first-year teacher and coach Andrew Meyer.
