Recently, a motivational speaker, Sam Glenn, spoke to students about how courage is key to living a good life.
Many students were moved by the message that he had and said that it has changed their perspective on how they act towards others and even towards themselves.
“This guy was pretty cool. I mean most of these speakers try and make us see things their way, but this one kind of understood us better and it was really cool to hear his story and be able to actually relate to him. I walked in there thinking that this was just going to be another guy preaching about how much we need to change and I walked out an actual changed person. I think Sam really got through to a lot of us, and it’s really great that he made the time to come to this school and share his story with us,” said Alex Mendoza.
Sam Glenn taught a message about how courage is important, especially to modern teens. Considering the rate of bullying is only going up hearing someone confronting the whole student body instead of just students causing the problem can help prevent it even more.
