Lowry Music Booster Club raising funds for equipment and travel

The Music Booster club is a club in which parents help the music department with their needs such as music instruments, music supplies, and money to go on trips. This club started out as some parents wanting to help out to get them wireless microphones and it progressed from there.

The Music Booster club has been able, with the help of generous parents to go on numerous trips and to festivals, like last year they went to Disneyland and the Los Angeles area. Four or five years prior to that they went to San Francisco. Swing Choir goes on tour in a different direction every year some past trips have been to the coast, Las Vegas, Salt Lake, Idaho, and Saint George.

You may think that this club is just for high school students but some parents bring their younger kids to get into music at a young age. Anybody is welcome to come and experience the music.

Some might compare this club to the Century Club; they do whatever they can to help out. This year they plan to have some scholarships for the students.
