Over the season, the wrestling team has had its ups and downs, but they have worked hard to make it to state in Boulder City, Nevada. One of the wrestlers that made it to state was Jhett Harbor. He is a freshman who started wrestling at two years old. He placed … at state.

Harbor said that wrestling is mostly a mental sport, so he spends a lot of his time working on his mental game. He believes that this really helps him as his record was 34-14 before state this year.

“My greatest achievement was making it to states as a freshman,” said Harber.

There are many things that Jacinto Hernandez will miss about Lowry as he will leave this year.

“Overall it has been my best season,” said Hernandez. “I will miss the coaches pushing me to the heights I never thought I could reach.”

Another wrestler who made it to state was Bonifacio Jacinto Hernandez. He is a senior this year. He has been wrestling since his freshman year and works hard to stay at the top of his weight class. As the season has progressed he has gotten better and has beat opponents he had previously lost to.
