Senior Luke Fentress is Student-Athlete of the Week, he was chosen by coach Taua Cabatbat for his leadership skills and commitment to his team.
“He was voted team captain by his peers, he works hard on the field,” said Cabatbat “Offensively does a great job blocking and catching and defensively he’s the quarterback of our defense getting guys into right positions and right now he’s doing pretty good overall as a leader, and just a great teammate.”
Fentress was happy to be picked as Athlete of the Week. One of his goals this season is to help fix weak parts of the defense.
“I would say a goal of mine is to help fix some aspects of our defense that is weak right now due to injuries,” said Fentress.
One of Fentress’ favorite things this season is being able to work with his teammates and have good communication with his coach.
“I have strong bonds with my teammates, and working with the coaches and my teammates has been a great thing about the season,” said Fentress
