Movie Review: ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’

Fans of the Resident Evil video games or movies definitely aren’t going to be disappointed by “Resident Evil: Afterlife”. Having excellent graphics and amazing fight scenes, all the adrenaline junkies will certainly not be nodding off at any point in this movie.

If you enjoy slow-mo decapitations with a monstrous amount of gore, then this movie is perfect for you. The director has kept the gore level high throughout each of the movies in the series.

After creating an apocalyptic world in the first movie with the lethal, zombie-inducing T-cell Virus, the Umbrella Corporation goes into hiding to continue their research on the disease that started the problem in the first movie. Then they created Project Alice, which was an experiment designed to become a biological super-weapon. Her cells bonded with the T-Cells, and instead of turning her into a cannibalistic zombie, give her awe-inspiring powers, the likes of which Umbrella wanted to control and replicate.

This movie shows another exciting installment in the vendetta against the evil Umbrella Corporation.
